Malaysian Coral Reef Conservation Society (CORAL) - Malaysian Coral Reef Conservation Society (CoRal) is a member-supported, non-profit organization of divers dedicated to the conservation of the Malaysian coral Reef and Marine life.
Our Mission
CoRal is committed to conserve, rehabilitate and enhance the marine Eco-system in Malaysia. This is done through creating awareness, education and participation in conservation activities.
Our Aims and Strategies
We aim to create awareness through:
· Grassroots participation of divers in local conservation programs
· Grabbing attention of public on Malaysia's marine conservation issues
Our Strategies include:
· Support from diving agencies, government bodies and commercial entitles.
· Effective use of the media
· Effective use of imaging and arts.
Our Programs
Our on going programs range from short term (<3 months) to long term (>3 years). They currently include:
